The Wonder Years & letlive. @ The Aggie, 3/13/16

Every time I shoot The Wonder Years or letlive., it's a learning experience. When this show was announced at The Aggie, I was excited and disappointed because I love Fort Collins and never get to get up there, but I hate shooting at The Aggie because there is no barricade. However, this show ended up being one of the best shows I've ever shot. Funny how that works out.

I was flying out to Texas for So What?! Fest a few days after this show, and very last minute decided to buy a new lens for the fest, just in case, and got to test it out at this show. I'm incredibly glad I brought it along because, despite the fact that when I got to The Aggie there actually was a barricade, I was not allowed to shoot The Wonder Years from it (like their last show I shot). So I got to play around with my pretty new telephoto during them and a little bit during letlive., and I'm really happy with the shots! I'm in love with my photos of letlive., but that goes without saying. They're the best people and always amazing to photograph. This was actually the best lighting I've ever shot them with, so that was awesome too!

There were also quite a few people who joined letlive. on stage during their last song. If you're in any of the photos and would like me to send them to you, just let me know!
